Why we give
We are generous because God is generous. Giving strengthens our commitment to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. As we model this with our finances, we trust in the Lord and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency.

Cash and Checks
Please make checks payable to Upper Valley Ministries. By contributing via check, you authorize the church to use information from your check to process your payment electronically. These checks ma be dropped off in the offering, mailed, or in person at the church offices.
Budget and Finances
Because God has called us to be faithful and generous givers, we counsel, guide and direct Highlands in the management of finances. Our elders review and analyze quarterly financial statements to direct the mission of the church and provide faithful stewardship of the resources God has provided.
Each year an annual budget is presented to the church for review, analysis and questions. The operating budget is essential to our accountability, transparency and integrity.
In addition to the prevention of an annual budget, Highlands gathers for regular family meeting where quarterly financial updates are provided and discussed.
In addition to regular church updates, an independent certified public accounting firm performs an annual audit of our finances.
